John R Stanford Jr came to America from England about 1678. He settled in Dorcester County, Maryland. He recived 108 Acres of Land in his Father-in-laws will in 1711. John married Elizabeth Marchant. He died about 1725 as his will was probated April 6, 1727.

Jonathon
Stanford was born about 1680 in Dorchester County,
Maryland. He married Suzannah Whipps about
1712. He
purchased land on the Blackwater River in Dorchester
County,
Maryland in 1719 and 1723. It is believed that
Jonathon's
occupation was an attorney.
