SIR, Your letter of the 3rd instant has been receive. Mr Joseph Johnston has been appointed Clerk of the superior Court of Baldwin County in the place of Mr Richard Lee removed from office. You will, therefore, deliver to Mr Johnston the papers of the office.
If Mr Lee shall have returned before you receive this letter be pleased to deliver him the inclosed.
