and genealogy was
REAL work!! The world lost one of its
true genealogists the day
he passed away. He was still working on
his research till
the end, at the age of 92.)

greater man there never was!
He clung to the old ways. His life
was his family. He loved to
make us kids cry!!! I think he just
liked upseting the women
folk!! Christmas, Easter,
Thanksgiving, those were all special
times when he was alive. Since he's
passed it's like the family
has drifted apart. We seldom
see each other anymore. But, I
still smile when I think of the
old ways Granddaddy insisted
on and wish we could all be like we
