The State of Texas } Know all men by these presents that
County of Coryell } I Elizabeth M. Johnson of the State and County Aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of Eighty six (86) dollars to me in hand paid by James W. Johnston of the County of Coryell and State of Texas the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and do by these presents grant bargain and convey unto the said James W. Johnston all that piece or parcel of land lying and being situated on Owl Creek Coryell County & State of Texas and more particular described as follows towit) Beginning at the NE corner of a tract of land deeded by L.L. Johnston to Elizabeth M. Johnston from which a Post oak marked X ( ) S 56 E 4 5/10 on another marked W vrs N 20 W 6 vrs. Thence S 19 W 585 Vs A rockmound in valley for the SE corner. Thence W 71 W 415 vrs a mound for the SW corner. Thence N 19 E 585 vrs a rock mound the WW corner Elizabeth M. Johnston survey on the North line of Henry Williams Headright survey. Thence S 71 E such said line 415 vrs to the place of beginning containing Forty-three (43) acres more or less and the same being a part of the Henry Williams Headright survey. To have and to hold the above described land unto the said James W. Johnston his heirs executors administratoss and legal representatives forever. And I the said Elizabeth M. Johnston do hereby bind myself my heirs & assigns to warrant aand forever diference the title to the above described land unto the said James W. Johnston his heirs and assigns forever against the claim or claims of and all persons or persons when so ever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
